A high performing and high potential mid-level manager of Hispanic ethnicity/heritage, self-identified. The individual should be recognized by internal corporate processes or methods as a talented candidate capable of succession to an executive position within the organization.
Midlevel management should also be determined by existing internal processes. The NHCC-CEDP acceptance procedures will assemble peer group class based on information supplied on the program application.
Meet the Class of 2012 participants
Each participant will be assigned an experienced executive mentor. The mentor will provide the participant with experienced based insight into leadership development and related cultural challenges. The mentor will assist the participant is developing a personal leadership plan focused on long term objectives. Participants will meet with mentors throughout the 12 month program period.
Meet the Class of 2012 Mentors
Participants will be grouped into teams of five individuals. Each team will be assigned an experienced executive advisor to support achievement of academic and team assignments. Advisors will attend all academic phases at SMU with their teams. Advisors will meet routinely with their teams to ensure targeted progress during the 12 month long program.
