The personal benefits that I have received by being associated with the NHCC are numerous. The personal development workshops that have been a part of the member meetings and exposure to other facets of corporate life (i.e., Human Resources, Global Procurement, etc.) which are not part of my daily responsibilities have been a tremendous asset. Finally, the networking opportunities through NHCC have been invaluable to me personally. I have been able to tap into resources for guidance and expertise on numerous issues that I have confronted throughout my career. These are truly benefits that are not found with any other organization.
The value that Hallmark has gained by its association with the NHCC is equally beneficial. They have been able to develop the knowledge base of their employees by sending them to NHCC member meetings. Hallmark employees have been able to tap into resources with other Fortune 1000 corporations to benchmark with and to exchange ideas and programs. The interaction amongst the membership at all levels is unique and is truly an attribute of the NHCC.
