2010 Census Briefs

In May 2011, The Census Bureau released a report which looks at an important part of our nation’s changing ethnic diversity. It is part of a series that analyzes population and housing data collected from the 2010 Census, and it provides a snapshot of the Hispanic or Latino population in the United States. Hispanic population group distributions and growth at the national level and at lower levels of geography are presented. This report also provides an overview of ethnicity concepts and definitions used in the 2010 Census. The data for this report are based on the 2010 Census Summary File 1, which is among the first 2010 Census data products to be released and is pro­vided for each state. At the NHCC, we will continue to share information relating to the Census and how this will impact corporate America.
