Latino leaders have massive potential to be successful executives who add value at the highest level of any organization. However, although Latinos make up roughly 20% of the labor force, only 4% make it to the C-suite.
Powered by The National Hispanic Corporate Council, we are thrilled to launch LEAP: The Latino Executive Accelerator Program. This learning experience is aimed at top-performing front-line leaders and middle managers looking for the next big jump in their careers. LEAP equips its participants with 9 executive leadership competencies that directly support fast-paced growth in their executive development.
This program offers a 6-month (admission during Fall 2024, program begins on January 2025) journey combining eight different learning modes, all contributing to boosting the careers of our cohorts. Alumni will engage in building a strong community of leaders committed to paving the road for the next generations.
Participant Profile:
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Current title: Senior Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents or related.
- Current employer: NHCC members, Fortune 1000 companies or major employers.
Participant Commitments
- Must attend the virtual cohort orientation (scheduled for January 2025).
- Must attend the in-person immersion #1 (scheduled for February 2025).
- Must attend all virtual programming (scheduled for January-June).
- Must attend the in-person immersion #2 (scheduled for June/July 2025).
- Must complete the capstone project.
- Must participate in the mentoring program.
- Must be willing to participate in the alumni connection (post-graduation).
Corporate Commitments:
- A company’s manager and/or executive sponsor must endorse the participant for eligibility.
- Must have manager’s approval and/or executive sponsor.
- The company must participate in the mentoring program. The company can nominate the mentor.
- The program requires the company to offer a capstone project to the participant.
- The program requires payment prior to the start of the cohort.
NHCC Members:
- Can nominate 1 participant per cohort
- Can nominate a second participant, but only granted if space is available
- It is one participant per company per cohort until all NHCC members opt-in or opt out of the current cohort. There are 25 seats available.
- Co-hosts sponsors are guaranteed 2 participants per cohort.
Other Companies:
- If there are seats available after the NHCC members’ opt-in/opt-out period, other qualifying companies can nominate participants.

Application Process:
- Each company may conduct their own internal nomination process.
- Once your candidate(s) have been identified, the application should be completed before the deadline.
- Once your application is approved, the invoice will be sent for advance processing. Payment MUST be processed to confirm the seat.
